Description

This shark bead pendant is one of a series and combines various materials and design elements to create a fascinating and versatile piece of jewelry.

The principal design element is a stylized shark, a fish of ancient origin.  The shark's image causes mixed emotions in the viewer.  We feel fear of a dangerous predator and admiration for the shark's strength and agility.  The design and form of the bead pendant make it a pleasing jewelry ornament for both men and women.

The pendant is of pure gold and fine silver and is fabricated and cast using the lost wax technique.  The bead pendant is 13/16 in (20 mm) long, has a slightly more than 1/4 in (7 mm) diameter and weighs approximately 5 grams.

Included with the pendant is a black rubber cord necklace with sterling silver terminals and a lobster claw clasp.  The necklace is presented in a forest green or dark blue pouch with my logo embossed in gold.
